Child Care Assistance Program (DSS & ACS) Advocacy Support Group Call

Are you a child care provider in New York State experiencing delays with payment and other issues from the Child Care Assistance Program under DSS (Department of Social Services) or ACS (Administration for Children’s Services)? 

Join us for a group Zoom call to discuss how these delays are impacting your business and what we can do as a united front to advocate for change.

During this call, we may:

• Share personal experiences with payment delays and their financial impact
• Discuss collective advocacy strategies to address ongoing issues with DSS and ACS
• Provide resources and share experiences for managing cash flow during delays
• Explore potential options and next steps for resolving these challenges
• Connect with other providers facing similar challenges across New York State

This call is an opportunity to collaborate with other child care providers and take action to ensure we receive the payments we are owed. Whether you are directly impacted by payment delays or want to be part of the advocacy movement, your voice is important!

THIS EVENT IS NOT ORGANIZED BY OCFS, DSS, OR ACS. The intention is for call participants to only be New York State child care providers (BOTH centers and group family day cares) who accept families with DSS and ACS cases.
