When I opened my first family child care business in 2014, I wore myself all the way out - to say the least! I was the children's caregiver during the day, the administrator in the evenings, and the company visionary/worry-wart laying in bed at night. And this was just at the FAMILY level in my own home. After a couple months, I knew I couldn't take living and working like this for much longer.

Fast forward to today, I currently own and operate three child care centers from the comfort of my own home - and no, I do NOT mean a home day care! I learned how to transform my responsibilities to focus on the development of my company, scaling up, and building an administrative team of strong leaders.

There's a common misconception that being an offsite business owner is more risky, but I'm here to tell you that's simply not true. Let me show you how I went from an owner/director of one center in 2017, to working remotely from 100+ miles away in 2019.
